미래창조과학부는 국제전기통신연합(ITU)이 지난달 30일 오후 4시 일본 히로시마에서 발표한 보통신기술발전지수(ICT 발전지수)에서 조사대상 167개국 중 한국이 1위를 차지했다고 1일 밝혔다. ICT 발전지수는 전년도 각종 정보통신기술 관련 통계를 바탕으로 각 국가의 ICT 발전정도를 평가한 결과다. 국가간 ICT 역량을 비교·분석하는 가장 공신력 있는 지표로 활용되고 있다.
