공부하려면 체부터 잡으라

1 “Buddhism is form-substance, and you too must first hold fast to the substance when you cultivate and purify yourself with dao.
불지형체(佛之形體)니 도를 닦으려면 체(體)부터 잡아야 하느니라.
2 When a bowl is emptied, it can be filled with objects.
When the mind is emptied, it can be filled with dao.
기허즉수물器虛則受物이요
심허즉수도心虛則受道니라
그릇을 비우면 물건을 담을 수 있고마음을 비우면 도를 받을 수 있느니라.
3 “The attainment of dao depends solely upon your own strivings.
도를 이루는 것은 너희들 하기에 달렸느니라.
4 If you stray from one mind during your practice, you will die.”
공부하다가 일심을 잃으면 죽느니라.
