갈릴레이를 다시 생각하다...

나는 갈릴레오 갈릴레이에 대해서
단순하게 천문학자, 수학자 정도로만 알고 있었는데,
갈릴레이가 남긴 말을 보고 내가 완전히 잘못알고 있었다는
것을 다시 한번 느꼈다.
"우리는 사람들에게 그 어떤 것도 가르칠 수 없다.
우리가 할 수 있는 일은 다만 그들이 자기 안에서 무엇인가를
찾도록 돕는 일이다." - 갈릴레오 갈릴레이
수많은 사람들 앞에 과감하게 자신의 약점을 드러내고
내가 이런게 부족하니 많은 가르침을 바랍니다. 라고 말하는
사람을 나는 보지 못했다. 이렇게 글을 쓰는 나 자신도 부끄럽다.
고통스럽고, 괴롭지만 자신의 약점을 인정함으로써 한걸음 더 성장할 수 있지 않을까?
내가 제일 못하는 것은 나의 감정을 숨기지 못하고 얼굴에 드러낸다는 것.
그것때문에 슬프지만 나이값을 못하고 있다.
이거 무릎팍도사에게 상담하고 싶다.
