People have long sought lands where auspicious stars shine, but such lands are not what they seem,

시속에 길성소조(吉星所照)를 찾으나 길성소조가 따로 있는 것이 아니요 

for auspicious stars shine on those who strive for virtue and revere others. Such striving is the path to refuge.

덕을 닦고 사람 잘 대우하는 데에 길성(吉星)이 비치나니 이 일이 곧 피난하는 길이니라.
